Pearson’s Nut Goodie-ness

This summer, Pearson Candy Company is teaming up with four ice cream shops – Izzy’s Ice Cream in St. Paul, Minnesota; Kelley Country Creamery in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; Edgar’s in Elk Point, South Dakota; and Dairy Dipper of Pride Dairy in Bottineau, North Dakota – to celebrate Nut Goodie’s 100th anniversary and to raise money for charity. The four shops will compete for the “People’s Choice Award,” where fans can vote online for their favorite Nut Goodie ice cream concoction. At the end of summer Pearson’s will hold a gathering with the shops and award the “People’s Choice Award” along with a “Kid’s Choice Award.” As an extension of their “Do Goodie” program, Pearson’s will donate $1,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest on behalf of the winner of each award.
